South Barber wins homecoming basketball games

On Friday night, the South Barber Chieftains had reason for celebration at their 50th Anniversary Homecoming basketball games against Stafford.
The Chieftains won their game 49-40.
The Lady Chiefs won 54-29.
Senior Autumn Drake was crowned homecoming queen.
The flu ran rampant across the school the week of and prior to homecoming. Three of the four kindergarten helpers were sick and didn't get to participate. They are Sutton Rhodes, son of Matt and Lindsey Rhodes; Tucker Blevins, son of Tyler and Kelsie Blevins; and Remi Miller, daughter of Mylo and Heather Miller.
