Students in Mrs. Bird's yearbook and journalism class used their digital design skills to create bookmarks to give to every student at Burlington Schools on "Word Read Aloud Day" on Feb. 7. The students created bookmarks for elementary, junior high and high school students using pictures taken throughout the school year. Not only do the bookmarks have sayings encouraging students to read, but they also serve as part of a marketing campaign for the school yearbook, providing information for students on how to order this year's yearbook.
