ALVA – Northwestern Oklahoma State forward Faith Simpson earned her second straight and fifth overall GAC Player of the Week award this season on Monday. Lady Rangers finished the week 2-0 with wins over Southern Arkansas and Arkansas Monticello.

Faith Simpson was the Lady Rangers’ leading scorer in both games this week averaging 28.5 points per game along with nine rebounds, three blocks and a steal.

In Game 1 of the week against Southern Arkansas, Simpson earned her fifth double-double of the season scoring 27 points along with bringing down 12 rebounds including four offensive rebounds. On...
