Eileen Joy (Peil) Reiman was born on June 22, 1948, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the first child of Gottfried Fred and Rosa Pauline (Schafer) Peil. Eileen was born and raised in Woodward and attended the Woodward Public Schools, graduating with honors from Woodward Senior High School in May 1966. She attended Phillips University in Enid where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, graduating as an honor graduate in May 1970.
