Three Northwestern education seniors awarded Scottish Rite Scholarships

Dr. Christee Jenlink, associate dean for the School of Education (left), recently awarded three students with the Guthrie Scottish Rite Scholarship. The recipients are (from left) Bobbie Dewald-Tuck, Charles Wylie and Isileli "Isi" Ofiu, all senior education students at Northwestern.

Three Northwestern Oklahoma State University seniors were awarded the Guthrie Scottish Rite Scholarship given by the Guthrie Scottish Rite Charitable and Educational Foundation.

Those awarded this semester are Bobbie Dewald-Tuck of Gage, majoring in early childhood education; Charles Wylie of Ponca City, majoring in English education; and Isileli Ofiu of Anchorage, Alaska, majoring in vocal music education.

Each semester the scholarships are awarded to teacher candidates who are completing their professional semester.
