Almost two years ago, I promised to introduce the documents of the New Testament at the rate of about one per month. Since there are 27 “books” from Matthew to Revelation, we are slightly ahead of schedule. Credit the brevity of letters like Philemon, and 2nd and 3rd John. The only writ remaining is the Revelation (aka the Apocalypse of John). Since I am scheduled to teach this amazing document during the month of November, please allow me to share some words of introductory wisdom.
