Southeastern Golf Wins MSU Invitational

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Southeastern closed out the fall portion of the schedule in style as they saved their best score for the final round and rallied from seven strokes off the lead to win the Midwestern State Invitational by four strokes with a team tally of 884.
The Savage Storm fired a third-round 288, besting their 289 from the second round, and moving from a tie for second with host Midwestern State and passing St. Mary's for its first win of the season.
The win is also the first under new head coach James Chambers who needed just five tournaments at the helm to log his first victory.
