Freedom man reports truck stolen, later says he wrecked it

It took some time for a highway patrol trooper to unravel the correct story about a wrecked truck. A Freedom man ended up with numerous charges following the incident.

According to court records, on Friday, Oct. 14, about 11:45 p.m. OHP Trooper Randal McCullough was dispatched to U.S. Highway 64 and County Road 160 for a single-vehicle accident. He found a 2008 Ford F-350 with a flatbed was eastbound and ran off the roadway just west of East Moccasin Creek. The truck struck a guard rail and continued along the top of the railing before striking the end of the East Moccasin Creek Bridge railing...
