Hillcats Score Early in 1-1 Draw Against St. Mary's

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State women's soccer team scored early and played to a 1-1 draw with St. Mary's on Saturday (Oct. 22) afternoon at Soldier Field.
The Hillcats went in front in the 14th minute when junior defender Jasmine Guerra scored on a ball that was misplayed by the St. Mary's goalkeeper and barely crossed the goal line for a 1-0 RSU advantage. The goal ties Guerra for the team lead in tallies with three on the season.
The visiting Rattlers received a penalty kick in the 83rd minute after a foul on RSU in the box. StMU's Roxy Cruz Santory converted on the penalty kick to knot...
