ECU Soccer Ends Season at Ouachita Baptist

ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The East Central University soccer team saw the 2016 season come to an end with a 1-2 loss at Ouachita Baptist in Great American Conference action. The Tigers finished the season with a 3-12-2 overall mark and a 3-8-1 record in the league.

ECU saw a goal from the team's leading scorer on the season in junior Deanna Rudasill, her 10th of the season. Senior Lexi Hurley ended the match with three saves, moving her season total to 72.

Ouachita (8-7-2, 8-3-1 GAC) started the scoring at 27:14 in the first half and added a second goal to take a 0-2 lead into the intermission.

The Tigers kept fighting and cut the deficit to one (1-2) toward the end of the match, at 86:12. Rudasill scored the goal on a cross from senior Lexie DeVore.
