DAR Chapter begins 2016-17 year

The Cherokee Outlet Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution began the 2016-2017 year with its first meeting on Sept. 8, held in the activities room of the Share Medical Hospital.

Linda Fox of the Woodward DAR Chapter was the guest speaker. She spoke about the changes in the application process for potential members and also encouraged all members to become more interested in genealogy to further the goals of the organization. Members renewed their memberships and received the program schedule for the coming year.
