Technic Gold competes in Heartland BEST's "Bet the Farm"

On Saturday, Oct. 29, Alva's robotic team, Technic Gold, competed with 17 other teams in the Heartland BEST's "Bet the Farm" competition. The team's robot, The Farmington 5000, encountered several mechanical problems during the competition, but the pit crew never gave up and performed several heroic repairs between rounds. At the end of the preliminary rounds, the team's engineering notebook score won them a spot in the wildcard round, which was a thrilling way to finish their part in the competition.
