Aaron Smith plans to refile for board, concern voiced, Elks basketball off to a good start

The Burlington Board of Education met for the October meeting on Monday, Nov. 21. Members present were: Terry Graham, Allison Armbruster, Aaron Smith, T.J. Rockenbach and Robert Hill. Others present were: Superintendent Glen Elliott, Principal Shane Feely and Minutes Clerk Tamre McGinnis.
The board seat currently held by Aaron Smith is up for re-election. Superintendent Elliott said the board filing dates are Dec. 5-7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alfalfa County Courthouse. Smith announced his intent to remain on the board. If needed, an election date is Feb. 14.
