Filing begins Monday, Dec. 5, for the annual school board elections in Oklahoma. Three positions on the Freedom Board of Education will be on the ballot. Those open are positions No. 2, 4 and 5.

Candidates may file at the Woods County Election Board located in the Professional Building on Fourth Street in Alva, just across from the city offices, fire department and police department. Filing will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Dec. 5-7.
