Huge crowd braves cold and snow flurries for Rotary toy event

Torin O'Neil, age 3, was the first to visit with Santa Saturday afternoon.
The ACT 1 Theater was filled nearly to capacity as the Alva Rotary Club distributed toys to invited guests at their annual Toys for Tots giveaway Saturday afternoon, Dec. 17.
The toys had been accumulated over the last quarter of the year from individual and merchant donations along with bicycles produced by a motorcycle club fundraiser. Each child present had the opportunity to sit on Santa's lap and talk about Christmas....
