January 13, 2017

SHAWNEE – The Bison of Oklahoma Baptist bring a relatively healthy squad into Saturday's game against a tough East Central squad.

Tip off is scheduled for 3 p.m.

For the first time since he's been the head coach, Quinn Wooldridge has the full complement of players he expected to be able to use at the beginning of a season. Vladimir Nemcok returns from injury and will play for the first time this season with Timotis Kuckailis since the first half of the season opener.

East Central is 9-4 overall and on a nine-game win streak since losing to Arkansas-Monticello. The Tigers are 5-2 in the GAC.

Braxton Reeves of East Central leads the Great American Conference at 21.5 points per game with Ishmael Donzo adding another 13.3.

Chandler Rickey leads the Bison at 15.5 points per game, followed by Steven Green at 14.7, Kevin Franceschi, Travon Moore at 10.9 and Nemcok at 10.0.

The Bison, 4-7 overall and 1-6 in the GAC, need seven more wins to qualify for the NCCAA postseason.
