Alva School Board to consider all-day pre-K

Returning board member Jane McDermott will recite the oath of office at Monday’s Alva Board of Education meeting. The board will meet at 5 p.m. in the board room at the administrative office, 418 Flynn St.
McDermott, the incumbent, was the only person filing for the board seat for the Feb. 14 election. Her installation will be followed by reorganization of the board to elect the president, vice-president, clerk and deputy clerk.
