PALM DESERT, Calif. – After the first round of play Thursday at the Augustana Spring Fling, Oklahoma Baptist is seventh in a stacked field at the Classic Club.
Five teams ranked in the Golfstat top-35 rankings comprise the nine-team field, including Indianapolis, the reigning NCAA Division II national champion.
OBU finished with a 330 team total, and is 10 strokes behind host-school Augustana.
Freshman Michelle Carr paced the Lady Bison with a five-over 77, and is tied for eighth place. Carr finished with three birdies on the round, including on her final hole of the day, the par-five fourth....
