Oklahoma City man denied leniency, gets life prison sentence

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma City man convicted of first-degree murder in the 2014 shooting death of his wife has been denied leniency and sentenced to life in prison.

The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/2nvQfe8 ) reports District Judge Bill Graves denied 36-year-old Kinney J. Glasson Jr.'s plea Tuesday. The judge also denied Glasson any credit for time served in jail while he awaited his trial and sentencing.

Prosecutors allege Glasson killed his wife to be with his girlfriend. Assistant District Attorney Dan Pond asked that the judge "not show mercy."

While Glasson didn't deny he shot his wife...
