ADA, Okla. — Southern Nazarene came up short in Ada Okla. as East Central came away with 4-3 and 10-2 victories Monday afternoon.
In the opener, after Southern Nazarene held East Central hitless through the first two innings, the Tigers broke through the hit column with a solo home run in the third to take a 1-0 lead. ECU added two more runs in the fourth to take a 3-0 lead into the fifth.
The Crimson Storm got on the scoreboard in the sixth. With runners on second and third, a Hannah LeBeau single through the left side scored both Amy Reynolds and Sam Smith.
