City of Kiowa and AEC settlement

The settlement is signed by both the City of Kiowa and Alfalfa Electric Cooperative (AEC) regarding a lawsuit involving the two entities.
When asked by the Newsgram about the results, Kiowa City Administrator Lou Leone said “no money was exchanged, but Kiowa acquired 2.3 miles of line.”
Leone explained that the settlement resolved several issues and some confusion of ownership between Kiowa and AEC.
“There were some differences of opinion as to the original agreement between Kiowa and AEC that has lead to additional problems all of which needed to be clarified and resolved,” Leone said.
