'Thank You' Alva Goldbug Education Foundation

On May 1, Alva High School students went to the high school office and called and thanked anyone who contributed to the Alva Goldbug Education Foundation either by memorial, donation, scholarship or membership. They call this a “Thank a Thon.” The students were fed pizza and brownies for their hard work.
If the people they called had any questions, the students answered them. If they didn’t answer, the kids left a message.
“A lot of people said that made their day because we weren’t asking for anything, we were simply thanking them for their contributions,” said Mattie Duncan.
