Every year, the Family at College Hill hosts three major events. The Saturday before Thanksgiving, of course, is Warmth for Winter. With the help of the good citizens of Alva and the surrounding communities, we help over 100 folks per year remain safer and more comfortable during the sometimes frigid weather of northwest Oklahoma. In the spring, we host a series of informative and instructional meetings on various topics. This year, we enjoyed lessons from Dean Kilmer on outreach and evangelism. But the first week of June is a “whole ‘nother animal.”
