Museum fundraiser to be held Friday, June 16

Thanks to a grant award from the Share Trust Fund, the Freedom museum now is wheelchair accessible. With a new ramp and handicap accessible restrooms, the museum board is pleased that it can offer this component.
Formerly known as the Salad Supper, the Freedom Museum Annual Fundraiser is slated for Friday, June 16, at 6:30 p.m. It will be held at Freedom Methodist Fellowship Hall in Freedom. Advance tickets are necessary to partake in good food, good fun and good fellowship.
"Last year we sold tickets at the door and ran out of seats," Sandy Wimmer, museum board member said. "The Fellowship Hall was packed and though we appreciate the overwhelming support, we'd like to avoid turning people away. So please purchase tickets in advance."
