Alva Review-Courier -

Last Friday, June 16, about 7 p.m., a vicious storm ripped through the Hardtner, Kansas, area – and further southwest – that hammered some homes, crops and more. There were many pics of that damage in the Sunday Alva Review-Courier.

One casualty of that storm was a semi that was southbound on U.S. Highway 281 at Rattlesnake Trail (at milepost 8). That location on U.S. Highway 281 is about two miles north of the K2 Highway intersection west of Kiowa, Kansas.
