Cherokee man charged with making threats

 


A Cherokee man is facing eight misdemeanor charges in Alfalfa County after several people reported he was making threats to kill them.

In three separate filings, James Craig “Chopper” Patterson, 45, of Cherokee has been charged with three counts of threatening to perform an act of violence. He has also been charged with assault, disturbing the peace, no valid driver’s license, harassing and threatening by electronic communication and public intoxication.
