Alva police investigated a two-vehicle collision on Logan Street south of Barnes Avenue. The wreck was reported at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19. Aaron Marquez, 20, of Alva was traveling south on Logan in a 2009 Pontiac. He passed a parked 2004 Chrysler then decided to back up to Barnes Avenue. While backing, Marquez struck the parked vehicle which is owned by Shay Lehr of Alva. Officer Jade Cooper filed the report.
