Woods County commissioners trading in a couple of graders

Commissioner John Smiley asked the other commissioners to approve declaring surplus two graders to Yellowhouse Machinery per the state contract. They also transferred $80,000 into capital outlay.

County Clerk Shelley Reed is still waiting for some school budgets to be submitted. The county budget is ready in the amount of $13,101,720.29. A vote to table the budget was approved after County Commissioner John Smiley said he wanted more time to look at the budget. The other two commissioners were fine with the budget as presented. The budget is up $200,000 from last year.
