This school year Burlington received a new pre-K teacher, Apryl Burleson. This is her first year teaching and so far she absolutely loves it! She says she always believed that she would be teaching high school, but actually loves teaching pre-K. The class has started out with 14 wonderful, curious kiddos: seven boys and seven girls! The class theme is "cactus cuties" and the classroom décor is cactus. They are all adjusting well, still learning their way around the school, and getting to know their new friends. They plan on learning the numbers, letter sounds, and letters. The class goal for this year is for everyone to love school and always be interested in learning new things!
