As the population ages, disease of the mind comes to the forefront as a great concern. Alzheimer’s Disease, the most common cause of dementia, is on the rise, as the Alzheimer’s Association estimates some 5.5 million people in the U.S. are affected. That also makes it the sixth leading cause of death.
