In a regular meeting that took only about ten minutes, the Woods County commissioners approved a water line crossing on the Aline Blacktop east of Greenvalley Church. No fee was collected because the line was placed in a culvert and the road was not damaged.

Alex Mantz of the Alva Chamber of Commerce appeared before the board and explained the Alva Candy Cane Giveaway promotion. She received permission to use the courthouse lawn and stage at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 2.

There were no blanket purchase orders and no new business....
