Recently this reporter had the opportunity to speak with Yamila Galindo, who is a senior at Freedom Public School. "Yam," as her friends know her, plans to attend college at NWOSU or OU and earn a degree in accounting. Yamila's dream job is to become an accountant. Her goal this year is to pass all of her classes.

When people smack their food while they eat is Yamila's biggest pet peeve. Her favorite meal is lasagna. Her favorite school activity is participating in FFA. Yamila considers herself more of an academic student.

Audrey Hepburn is a person that Yamila admires the most because Audrey "was a classy young lady who was an actress, model, dancer and humanitarian." Yamila considers receiving the NTHS (National Technical Honor Society) award at Career Tech her biggest accomplishment.
