Rainbow girls, Presbyterians pack Christmas baskets for the women's shelter

On Dec. 19, members of the Alva Assembly of Rainbow for Girls volunteered to help members of the Presbyterian Church pack Christmas baskets for Women's Shelter in Alva. They packed 13 baskets with everything necessary for a wonderful holiday meal. The baskets were then delivered by Rev. Sarah Chivington-Buck and her helpers, Chase Jones and Noah Place. Rainbow girls are (from left) Kimberly Stuck, Jaydan Coffman, Kate Leeper, Elisabeth Ridgway, Trinity Miller, Erica Coday, Ryleigh Orcutt, Trinity Smith and Emily Barton.
