Waynoka man injured, charged with assault

A Waynoka man was taken to the hospital after deputies went to a rural Woods County residence to investigate a complaint of domestic violence.

According to court records, the incident occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Woods County deputies David Cummings and Chase Bouziden responded at 8:42 a.m. to an address on County Road 350. On the way, Cummings contacted Waynoka Police Chief Ted Woodhead and requested he also respond since he was closer to the address.
