Hillcats Split with Lions in Thursday Doubleheader

 


FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Rogers State baseball team took game one by a 5-0 score, but fell, 12-2, in game two to split a nonconference doubleheader at UA Fort Smith on Thursday (March *) at Crowder Field. The Hillcats moved to 11-4 on the season.

For his second straight outing, senior pitcher Spencer Bivenspitched a complete game shutout. This time the State College, Pa. product went the full 7.0 innings and registered five strikeouts and allowed only six hits, all singles.
