Flu season this year has made many Americans sick, but the question is how might flu season be different from in past years? Well, for starters, each year there are usually a few different strains of the flu virus circulating around.

This year the flu strain is the Influenza A virus. This epidemic has been the most contagious in three years. The worst flu season was in 2014-15, which saw almost 34 million people come down with the flu.
