Program on Five Love Languages

March 28, 2018

Showing true love for friends, family and co-workers is more than chocolate and flowers. For some people, receiving gifts does make them feel the most appreciated; however, there are four other ways that people like to be appreciated: words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service and physical touch.

Have you ever felt misunderstood and wished that your friend, spouse, parent or child would know better what you needed to feel appreciated? This presentation was developed and evaluated by the Extension Service of West Virginia University and based on the book by Dr. Gary Chapman.

Come find out which love language speaks most to you and learn how to show your appreciation to others in the way they most desire. Connecting with Others Using the Five Love Languages is being taught on April 11 at 7 p.m. at the Kiowa Senior Center, Kiowa, Kansas, by Robin Eubank-Callis, Barber County Extension agent. This program is also available to other groups that might be interested. For more information, contact Robin at 620-886-3971 or [email protected].
