School board to hire two adjunct instructors

Several actions involving teachers are on the agenda of the Alva School Board for Monday’s meeting. The board will meet in the administrative office at 418 Flynn at 5 p.m.
Board members will vote on approving Dixie Meyer as an adjunct instructor for two hours of chemistry and Mary Tyree as an adjunct instructor for one hour of life science. Those are for fiscal year 2018.
There will be discussion and possible action to approve the reassignment of Krista Starbuck from special education teacher to Title I teacher and Title I coordinator for the 2018-2019 school year.
