Kansas postal worker charged with embezzlement

Donya Swayden, 34, Medicine Lodge, Kansas, is charged with three counts of embezzlement from the U.S. Postal Service and three counts of making false entries in postal records. The crimes are alleged to have occurred in 2017 in Pratt County, Kansas.

The indictment alleges she issued three postal orders to customers who did not pay for them.

If convicted, she faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000. The U.S....
