Cerda Earns GAC Weekly Honor

DURANT, Okla. – Following his performance in leading Southeastern to a 2-1 weekend against Southern Nazarene, Joseph Cerda has been named the Great American Conference Player of the Week.

In game one of the series, he became first player in Southeastern Oklahoma State's DII era to hit for the cycle, and finished the 18-5 win by going 5-for-5 with seven RBI.

In the series finale, he hit a three-run home run and drove in four runs.

Cerda hit .583 for the weekend and finished with 11 RBI over the three games.

Southeastern will be back in action April 20-21 when it hosts Oklahoma Baptist in a three-game series at The Ballpark in Durant.
