Enrollment for all Alva public schools will be July 24, 25 and 26 at the Alva Middle School cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

If you are unable to attend enrollment please contact your child's school:

• Washington Early Childhood Center (pre-K through first grade) – 327-3518

• Longfellow Elementary School (second and third grades) – 327-3327

• Lincoln Elementary School (fourth and fifth grades) – 327-3008

• Alva Middle School (sixth and eighth grades) -- 327-0608

• Alva High School (ninth through 12th grades) -- 327-3682

Changes to schedules for students at Alva Middle School and Alva High School will be made the first week of school.

Enrollment forms will be available July 10 online to fill out ahead of time.

It is very important to turn in the applications for free and reduced lunches during enrollment because grants are connected to the percentage of students receiving free and reduced lunches. Regardless of whether you qualify and don't eat at school or you don't qualify, federal money to the school district is affected by your completing and turning in the application. When you fill out your free and reduced lunch application, you will be entered into a drawing for one of five Goldbug Family Sport Event Passes to be used throughout the year.
