New staff appointments at NWTC

Northwest Technology Center has announced new staff appointments for the upcoming school year.

Amy McClure joins the Fairview campus staff as the instructor for the Computers and Business program. McClure has been serving as the career center coordinator on the Alva campus.

Jennifer Shaw was hired last spring as the career counselor at Fairview upon the retirement of Jane Harris. Most recently, Shaw taught the BioMedical Sciences program at NWTC-Alva.

Also joining the Fairview staff is Stacy Lee. Lee comes to NWTC from the Okeene Hospital. She will be teaching the Digital Design program.

Josh Anderson joins the staff on the Alva campus as the Collision Repair instructor. Anderson is a former NWTC student in the Collision Repair program. Anderson is taking over from his former instructor, Jeff Owen.

Eric Sheik will be teaching the Construction Trades program. Sheik was hired upon the retirement of Dennis Bushman.

Long-time instructor Tami Frascht will move from Digital Design instructor to career center coordinator. Frascht replaces Amy McClure who is moving to the Fairview campus.

Jessica Schanbacher will become the Digital Design instructor at Alva. She is moving to the Alva campus from the Digital Design program on the Fairview campus.

Finally, Kala Mead fills the BioMedical Sciences opening on the Alva campus. Mead comes to NWTC from Woodward High School where she has been teaching science courses.
