NWTC prepares for new school year

Fairview Campus Assistant Superintendent Colt Shaw, NWTC Superintendent Daren Slater, and Alva Campus Assistant Superintendent Jeremy Eaton.
Northwest Technology Center (NWTC) will begin its school year on Monday, Aug. 13, at both the Alva and the Fairview campuses. Enrollment numbers on both campuses are high for the upcoming school year. NWTC will host a Back-To-School Open House at both Alva and Fairview on Tuesday, Aug. 7, beginning at 5 p.m. Students, parents and the general public are invited to attend.
On July 1, Daren Slater became NWTC's superintendent. Slater is taking the reins upon the retirement of Dr. Gerald Harris. Jeremy Eaton joins the administrative team as the assistant superintendent of the Alva campus. Colt Sha...
