Country and gospel singer Herschel Timm (pictured here with his wife, Karen) of Enid, will present a gospel concert in Kiowa's Progress Park on Labor Day at 3 p.m. He is related to the musical Buddy Williams family of Kiowa, so there will certainly be some lovely harmonies.
What do you think of when you remember being in Kiowa, Kansas, on Labor Day weekend? Is it running or walking the 5K race? Or is it walking for a cake to give to your special someone or having the winning bingo card? Maybe as a kid you found some money in the hay scramble.
