Richard Burdick, director of the J.R. Holder Wellness Center at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, presented the program at the Sept. 5 meeting of the Wheatland Republican Women held at The Other Place Restaurant in Alva.
Burdick discussed the various exercise programs available for all ages at the Wellness Center. Several more machines have been added in the workout area. Participating in water exercises, Zumba classes, weight machines, racquetball courts, and the walking/running track are just some of the ways to get healthy and fit. The cost of membership is just $25 per month.
