Northwest Technology Center will be offering firearms simulation training to local and regional law enforcement agencies. The training equipment was installed at Northwest Technology Center's Alva campus last week. A mobile training facility is also available and will be housed at the Fairview campus.
Last week, firearms simulation training equipment was installed at Northwest Technology Center's Alva campus. Area law enforcement officers and NWTC staff who will be teaching classes using the new equipment have completed the master trainer course.
NWTC will be offering firearms simulation training to local and regional law enforcement agencies. The firearms training simulation is an intensive training that simulates the use of firearms in real-world scenarios. The training facilities include two firearms training simulators, auxiliary firearms props, vests and over 800 training scenarios.
