Another historic tennis match – Part 1

Last year I wrote an article about the women’s final match at tennis’s U.S. Open. That tournament is the most important played in the United States. This year, for example, the winner took home a mind-boggling $3,800,000!

In 2017, two African American women – Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens – were the finalists in the U.S. Open. Neither had gotten that far before in such a prestigious match. Stephens won, but both women made history.
