The Alva Board of Education meets Monday at 5 p.m. in the superintendent’s office at 418 Flynn in Alva. The agenda includes possible hiring of one non-certified staff member, approving a trip to the National FFA Convention and continuing the lease of a school bus.

The board will hear reports from the five principals. There will be discussion and possible action to use hours rather than days for the fiscal year 19 school calendar. Another vote is on approving the revised extra duty assignments.
