The Burlington 4-H held the second-annual Fall Fest on Oct. 12 at the town park. The 4-H members helped set up many fun activities such as face painting, bean bag toss, pumpkin drawing, bowling and sack races. Kids of all ages from around the community attended. Luckily, the weather allowed the rain and cold to hold off long enough for the Fall Fest to be completed.
There was also a chili cooking contest, which was served with hot dogs and apple desserts for the meal. Many of the kids also enjoyed treats like popcorn and cotton candy.
After the sun went down, everyone got out their lawn chairs...
