Seventy people spent Sunday afternoon and evening, Oct. 14, at Zion Lutheran Church making noodles for their 36th Annual Chicken Noodle Supper.
They purchased 220 dozen eggs and 1,300 pounds of flour from Alva's Market to make the noodles. The noodles will dry for a week with members turning them daily.
Then they will be cooked with chicken in chicken broth early Monday morning, Oct. 22, for the chicken noodle supper that evening from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Merchants Building at the Woods County Fairgrounds.
